Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of high-impact RDT&E efforts with multi-project oversight for missile, shipboard, and aircraft energy systems
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of SMEs, analysts, and engineers
• Serve as the primary interface between the Government and the Contractor Team, coordinating with NSWC Crane stakeholders and subcontractors
• Support the development of Project Management Plans (PMPs), Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), and Final Technical Reports (FTRs)
• Ensure timely delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and compliance with performance thresholds
• Manage financial processes including MIPR, burn tracking, and acquisition of Other Direct Costs (ODCs) under CPFF contracts
• Guide rapid prototyping efforts and oversee subcontractor onboarding

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 7+ years of experience in DoD R&D program management, including direct CPFF contract execution
• Experience handling COMSEC material and working in classified environments
• Deep understanding of NSWC Crane’s mission, organizational structure, and business processes
• Strong knowledge of DFARS, DoD acquisition standards, and deliverable compliance
• Proven ability to manage complex tasks under tight budget and time constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Technical background in energy systems, power storage, or systems engineering
• Experience supporting classified work, including clearance management and secure facility access
• Experience overseeing lab, warehouse, and logistics operations
• Experience with Scientific and Technical Information (STI)
