Program Evaluation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the asthma case management program using interviews and surveys
• Survey target populations and service providers to identify public health needs
• Provide technical assistance and support to the asthma case management team
• Represent the agency at meetings with public health service providers
• Prepare educational materials and provide technical assistance for their development
• Act as a liaison between the agency, school officials, and community groups
• Analyze program training needs and work on special projects for the Office of School Health

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in public health education or related fields
• OR a Master's degree in public health, education, or administration and one year of experience
• Experience in needs assessment, designing educational materials, and program evaluation
• Ability to work in the Bronx

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in counseling areas such as communicable diseases or family planning
• Experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity for higher assignment levels
