Program Evaluation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support in the preparation of educational materials
• Analyze training needs and work on special projects for the Office of School Health
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the asthma case management program using surveys and interviews
• Survey target populations and agency staff to identify health needs and resources
• Represent the agency at meetings with public health service providers and school officials
• Act as a liaison with other agencies and community groups to provide public health education

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in public health education, program development, or counseling
• OR a Master's degree in public health, education, or administration and one year of relevant experience
• Must be a permanent employee in the title or reachable on the Public Health Educator civil service list
