Program Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall program strategy, goals, and execution plans
• Establish program-wide processes, procedures, and standards
• Advise senior leadership and stakeholders on program direction, risks, and opportunities
• Lead and mentor a team of design managers, project managers, and project controls professionals
• Oversee all phases of design and construction to ensure alignment with educational needs
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and funding sources
• Identify and mitigate risks across the program lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 20 years of experience in capital project/program management
• At least 10 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing large-scale higher education capital programs
• Strong knowledge of design and construction processes and project controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• PMP, CCM, or similar certification
• Experience with bond-funded programs and public procurement
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools
