Program Director

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, governance, and enterprise-level oversight for large-scale programs and portfolios valued up to $5Bn
• Act as the senior representative to the client, leading negotiations regarding scope changes, contractual matters, and commercial adjustments
• Establish and mature PMO methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Oversee end-to-end execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, managing dependencies and senior stakeholder expectations
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track program health, financial forecasting, and benefits realization
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate program-level risks, driving decisions on scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs
• Build, lead, and mentor large multidisciplinary teams of Project Managers, Engineers, and technical professionals
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify and secure additional work through successful program delivery and client relationships

Requirements

• 25+ years of relevant experience, including significant supervisory and senior leadership responsibility
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs or portfolios valued between $1B and $5B
• Extensive experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams of Engineers, Project Managers, and Designers
• Proven background in project, program, or construction management at a senior leadership level
• Strong operational management experience involving personnel, facilities, and complex technical environments
• Deep understanding of industry practices, regulations, and modern engineering and project management technologies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at executive and board levels
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capabilities
