Program Director of Communication

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and update the Communication undergraduate program to enhance academic differentiation.
• Provide comprehensive academic advising to students regarding program structure, concentrations, and career changes.
• Guide students through their entire academic cycle, including planning, enrollment, and graduation requirements.
• Monitor academic progress, competency development, and the achievement of academic distinctions.
• Promote and manage student participation in international experiences, professional internships, and high-impact academic activities.
• Lead student engagement through congresses, competitions, student groups, and academic events.
• Collaborate on academic planning, group generation, and strategic program projects.
• Drive links with the professional sector to promote employability, entrepreneurship, and research opportunities.
• Track key program indicators such as retention, internationalization, and employability.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Communication or related fields (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Professional experience in communication disciplines (e.g., digital marketing, audience analysis, social media, advertising).
• Experience in leadership, group management, and student support.
• English proficiency level of B2 minimum.
• Fluency in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in academic administration and institutional processes.
• Knowledge of educational innovation and change management.
• Proficiency with audiovisual tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of digital humanities.
