Program Director - Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program under the direction of CCI
• Conduct regional and district needs assessments to determine specialist deployment and understand mental health needs
• Ensure all program activities align with grant deliverables and CCI priorities
• Oversee data collection, progress monitoring, and program evaluation
• Implement training, support, and coaching for project staff and district leadership teams
• Oversee the Mental Health Awareness Training protocol
• Deploy specialist resources to support students, families, and schools

Requirements

• Master's degree in a mental health field (Doctorate preferred)
• Expertise in evidence-based mental health services
• Proficiency in Spanish
• Extensive knowledge of research-based interventions, instruction, and learning strategies
• Experience providing training, coaching, professional development, or technical assistance
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for interacting with families and school personnel
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Long Island, including occasional nights and weekends
