Program Director, FAME-E

Responsibilities

• Lead FAME-E program curriculum development, review, and content creation as a subject matter expert.
• Recruit and supervise program instructors and partner with affiliate organizations to meet learner needs.
• Integrate ACGME standards and medical education research into the curriculum and learner mentorship.
• Mentor and coach program learners, promoting professional development and supervising assignment completion.
• Manage and prepare the annual FAME-E program budget in coordination with the Executive Director.
• Assess and improve the curriculum based on learner feedback, program reviews, and outcome assessments.
• Coordinate all program events and learning environments, both online and in-person.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in a relevant field (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, EdD).
• Five years of experience in academic medicine.
• Expertise in curriculum development and knowledge of ACGME standards.
• Ability to utilize office equipment and travel to off-site events and educational sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles for adult education.
• Experience in a role supporting graduate medical education teaching, research, or operations.
