Program Director

Responsibilities

• Manage programs and events for the local chapter to maximize impact and sustainability
• Develop and support local fundraising efforts, including proposal development and relationship stewardship
• Identify and collaborate with local private, public, and philanthropic organizations
• Support local advocacy efforts and community engagement initiatives
• Build and manage volunteer programs, including recruitment and engagement
• Execute marketing and communications strategies, including social media management
• Utilize project management tools like Salesforce, Hive, and Google Workspace
• Track metrics and evaluation for all chapter programs and activities

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of the military family experience
• Experience in volunteer recruitment and management
• Experience in business development and fundraising
• Strong public speaking and writing skills
• Project management experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Must reside in the local community the Chapter serves

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce
• Familiarity with membership-driven organizations
