Program Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of complex technical systems within Train Management Systems (TMS)
• Ensure high-quality delivery across multiple technical areas, focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
• Take ownership of planning, roadmaps, baselines, and project follow-ups
• Drive technical decision-making and manage risks, dependencies, and critical issues
• Conduct design reviews to ensure technical quality in all deliveries
• Collaborate closely with Program Managers on cost, planning, and resource management
• Improve workflows and processes to increase team efficiency over time
• Foster strong collaboration between technical teams, project management, and customers

Requirements

• Engineering background or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience working with complex technical systems or large-scale programs
• Strong skills in planning, coordination, and delivery management
• Experience working cross-functionally within large organizations
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies
• Fluency in both Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of how software, systems, and hardware integrate at a system level
• Experience in regulated or highly technical environments (e.g., railway, signaling, or embedded systems)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, such as the NIS2 directive
