About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cultural, educational, and recreational programming for secure detention youth
  • Work with youth on teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking activities
  • Support healthy lifestyles through sports, exercise, and nutrition-focused programming
  • Evaluate internal and external programs through observation, surveys, and feedback
  • Coordinate with contracted providers and manage vendor clearance, compliance, and performance reporting
  • Assist with training staff and providers on programming modules and special projects

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree plus 2 years of community work experience, or equivalent
  • High school diploma plus 6 years of community-centered experience, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of qualifying experience
  • Experience working with youth or community-based programs
  • Ability to coordinate vendors, reports, and program evaluation
