About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cultural, educational, and recreational programming for secure detention youth
- Work with youth on teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking activities
- Support healthy lifestyles through sports, exercise, and nutrition-focused programming
- Evaluate internal and external programs through observation, surveys, and feedback
- Coordinate with contracted providers and manage vendor clearance, compliance, and performance reporting
- Assist with training staff and providers on programming modules and special projects
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree plus 2 years of community work experience, or equivalent
- High school diploma plus 6 years of community-centered experience, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of qualifying experience
- Experience working with youth or community-based programs
- Ability to coordinate vendors, reports, and program evaluation
