About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cultural, educational, and recreational programming for secure detention youth
- Work with youth development specialists, providers, and DOE partners on activities and workshops
- Support youth leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and healthy lifestyles
- Assess programs through observation, surveys, and other evaluation methods
- Coordinate vendor clearance, tracking, compliance, meetings, and performance evaluations
- Assist with training staff and providers on programming modules and delivery
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree plus 2 years of community work experience, or equivalent
- High school diploma plus 6 years of community work experience, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of qualifying experience
- Experience in community-centered activities related to the role
- Ability to coordinate programs, vendors, and stakeholder groups
