About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cultural, educational, and recreational programming for secure detention youth
  • Work with youth development specialists, providers, and DOE partners on activities and workshops
  • Support youth leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and healthy lifestyles
  • Assess programs through observation, surveys, and other evaluation methods
  • Coordinate vendor clearance, tracking, compliance, meetings, and performance evaluations
  • Assist with training staff and providers on programming modules and delivery

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree plus 2 years of community work experience, or equivalent
  • High school diploma plus 6 years of community work experience, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of qualifying experience
  • Experience in community-centered activities related to the role
  • Ability to coordinate programs, vendors, and stakeholder groups
