Program Cost Controls, Sr. Principal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis to support the Tactical Strike Finance organization
• Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, and other reporting activities
• Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC)
• Prepare manpower reports to support Command and Control staffing demand reviews and identify resource gaps
• Support the monthly forecast and close process
• Assist with proposal development and program start-up activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Professional experience in a related finance role
• Proficiency with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad understanding of GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Experience in the DoD or Aerospace industry
• Experience working on high-visibility projects and production programs
• Familiarity with RMD business systems such as SAP, BW, RPlan, PMX, or EDIT+
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to use critical and strategic thinking in a proactive manner
