Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Community Mobilizers to implement development programs and child sponsorship initiatives.
• Facilitate community capacity building to enhance local ownership of child well-being priorities.
• Identify and develop multi-stakeholder partnerships with local organizations and government entities.
• Monitor the presence and well-being of registered children, ensuring adherence to sponsorship standards.
• Establish community-led child protection mechanisms and monitoring systems within assigned clusters.
• Support resource diversification and local capacity building for community-based teams.
• Ensure the inclusion of the most vulnerable families in all primary focus area programs.

Requirements

• University degree in any discipline.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 5–7 people.
• Strong project management and data collection methodology skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and basic DME (Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation) skills.
• Fluency in the local language and literacy in English.
• Understanding of poverty dynamics, government schemes, and local governance (PRIs).

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in community development or social work.
• Experience in resource mobilization and networking within local communities.
• Ability to work effectively within diverse cultural contexts.
