About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide complex administrative support to the Nursing Program, including coordinating onboarding for BSN cohorts and preparing orientation resources.
  • Coordinate clinical placement logistics, rotation requests, and compliance deadlines with healthcare partners using platforms like ACEMAPP, StudentMAX, and Complio.
  • Support the Dean of Nursing and School of Nursing leadership through meeting preparation, agenda development, minute taking, and event coordination.
  • Manage operational tasks for nursing faculty, including testing coordination, textbook distribution, and classroom preparation.
  • Organize major School of Nursing events such as BSN Orientations, Pinning & Praise Ceremonies, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with accreditation and regulatory reporting by preparing, proofreading, and maintaining program documentation and electronic records.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and clinical partners, providing high-level customer service and responding to inquiries.
  • Maintain organized and confidential department records, student files, and clinical affiliation agreements.

Requirements

  • Administrative experience in a professional office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement projects independently.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of three years of experience in a higher education environment.
