About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical leads and Project Managers to develop program plans, educational strategies, and partnerships to meet the learning needs of physicians.
- Oversee and coordinate the planning logistics and delivery of all program components, including scheduling, audio-visual needs, speaker coordination, and catering.
- Provide in-person and virtual on-site support at educational events and activities in the Lower Mainland.
- Develop program syllabi, marketing materials, and website content following best practices and accreditation standards.
- Implement evaluation strategies, conduct surveys, and perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assess program effectiveness.
- Manage project budgets, prioritize workflows, and ensure subject matter experts and speakers are compensated on time.
- Establish and maintain new course learning modules on the UBC CPD Moodle online learning platform.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in adult education, social sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in adult education or continuing education programs.
- Working knowledge of both traditional and online methods of course delivery.
- Knowledge of the BC medical system or experience working with the medical community.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle.
- Training in project management.
- Experience in a cost-recovery environment.
