Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations for the GEM Centre, implementing strategic priorities across research, education, and global health portfolios
• Manage financial administration, resource allocation, and budget reporting across multiple funding sources
• Provide administrative and operational support for research, educational, and trainee-focused initiatives
• Support development activities to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Centre
• Facilitate internal and external communications to promote the impact of the Centre's work
• Coordinate grants, contracts, and multi-partner collaborations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or healthcare/academic administration
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Lean, or Agile)
• Proven experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and expense management
• Experience coordinating grants, contracts, or complex multi-partner collaborations
• Strong professional writing skills for preparing reports, briefing notes, and funding applications
