About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for the GEM Centre, implementing strategic priorities across research, education, and global health portfolios
- Manage financial administration, resource allocation, and budget reporting across multiple funding sources
- Provide administrative and operational support for research, educational, and trainee-focused initiatives
- Support development activities to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Centre
- Facilitate internal and external communications to promote the impact of the Centre's work
- Coordinate grants, contracts, and multi-partner collaborations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or healthcare/academic administration
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Lean, or Agile)
- Proven experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and expense management
- Experience coordinating grants, contracts, or complex multi-partner collaborations
- Strong professional writing skills for preparing reports, briefing notes, and funding applications
