Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate CFS program activities, including seasonal events, summer programs, and community kitchen initiatives
• Organize and conduct the annual Christmas Kettle Fundraising Campaign and other special fundraising projects
• Coordinate, review, and assign weekly workloads for community and family services volunteers
• Maintain accurate client records, activity logs, and statistical reports using organizational computer systems
• Network with government and community social service providers to coordinate resources for clients
• Ensure all programs meet contractual, legal, and internal requirements through regular reviews and audits
• Manage monetary and non-monetary donations and ensure proper documentation for tax receipts

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year post-secondary academic program
• At least three years of related professional experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in community engagement, events, or communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with social media management
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work occasional evenings or weekends
