Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and coordinate community-based programs in alignment with organizational mission and values
- Manage the full volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition for the Food Bank, Thrift Store, and seasonal initiatives
- Conduct client intake assessments using the Link2Feed system and provide referrals to appropriate community resources
- Assist with strategic planning and community needs assessments to drive program development
- Coordinate seasonal initiatives, including the Christmas Hamper Program and the Kettle Campaign
- Manage administrative duties such as data entry, statistical reporting, and maintaining confidential participant files
- Support Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) planning and implementation as required
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year post-secondary academic program
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, including working with clients and volunteers
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License, personal vehicle, and insurance
- Ability to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record check (including vulnerable sector) and Child Abuse Registry check
- Current First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers, and Non-Violent Crisis training (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media management and digital advertising
- Proficiency in using client management systems or Salesforce
- Experience in grant application assistance and reporting
- Strong background in event planning and community networking
