About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level operational and strategic support to the School of Nursing Chair and academic programs
  • Ensure quality assurance and regulatory alignment with Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) and CCNE accreditation standards
  • Manage faculty onboarding processes, including tracking licensure, certifications, and quality assurance documentation
  • Oversee student-related administrative processes, including registration coordination and maintenance of student files
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes for curriculum committees
  • Support accreditation readiness by tracking timelines, documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Monitor student progression indicators and communicate concerns to program leadership
  • Assist with budget-related processes, facility utilization planning, and grant-related documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience, or an Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in a related field (college/university, healthcare, or program coordination)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education or nursing program administration
  • Familiarity with the Ohio Board of Nursing and CCNE standards
  • Experience with quality assurance tracking systems and faculty onboarding
