Program Coordinator-GME

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and operational functions to support Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
• Coordinate accreditation activities, academic events, recruitment, and committee operations.
• Maintain records for affiliation agreements, physician service agreements, and trainee contracts.
• Assist in tracking institutional academic GME data and reporting program metrics.
• Coordinate GME housing for outside rotations, including lease oversight and property management communication.
• Support leadership in organizing faculty and resident orientation and recruitment programs.
• Manage logistics for major GME events such as Match Day, Welcome Parties, and holiday events.
• Coordinate GME Committee (GMEC) and JEDI quarterly meeting logistics, including agenda preparation and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and ACGME regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two years of experience in a higher education academic setting or healthcare administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training Administrators for Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) Certification.
• Experience in medical education or residency program management.
• Experience working with Residency Database Management systems.
