About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily program structure and follow established schedules
  • Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by physician
  • Support patients with de-escalation and implementation of coping skills
  • Conduct room and luggage searches
  • Supervise fresh air breaks and mindful movement exposures
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity
  • Participate in facilitation of therapeutic groups
  • Provide meal support using coaching and skills aligned with the treatment team
  • Ensure adherence to individualized meal plans and allergy-safety protocols
  • Complete required EHR documentation related to group facilitation and meals
  • Support additional transportation needs including outings and medical appointments

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (PC I & II)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health or related field (PC III)
  • Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience (PC II)
  • Minimum of six months of experience in behavioral health (PC III)
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
  • Compliance with state-specific credentials and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mental Health/Psych Tech certification
  • CNA certification
  • ServSafe certification
