Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership and coordination for the First to Finish! LCAN initiative to assist first-generation college students in earning bachelor's degrees.
• Build and facilitate Action Teams, meeting with leadership, community partners, and educational institutions.
• Coordinate program work to ensure compliance with grant requirements and completion of deliverables.
• Recruit and engage potential and current students through outreach activities and community partnerships.
• Plan and execute programming, including group presentations, mentorship, and special events.
• Monitor budget expenditures and maintain continuous contact with program members to support academic and personal achievements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience working with high school and/or college students; OR an Associate's degree and 3 years of experience working with high school and/or college students.
• Experience in organizational or strategic planning.
• Proficiency in verbal, written, and social media communication.
• Experience in conflict resolution and budget management.
• Strong meeting facilitation and time management skills.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Banner or other student records databases.
• Teaching or counseling experience.
• Experience working specifically with first-generation college students.
• Bilingual skills.
