Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain promotional materials, social media campaigns, and digital content for CGT programs.
• Manage and update the CGT website and respond to community inquiries.
• Plan and oversee diverse events, including student orientations, academic workshops, and virtual programs.
• Coordinate event logistics such as speaker communications, space reservations, catering, and A/V support.
• Manage financial operations, including expenses, reimbursements, invoices, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee office management tasks, including meeting coordination, electronic filing, and supply procurement.
• Hire, train, and supervise work-study and casual employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain high confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related administrative experience, ideally in a university or complex organization.
• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of Columbia University’s accounting systems (ARC) and administrative platforms.
• Experience with social media tools, Canva, HTML, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
