About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Dean, faculty, and program directors within the Graduate School of Psychology.
- Assist with academic functions including class scheduling, faculty workload tracking, and adjunct faculty onboarding and recruitment.
- Manage office operations such as maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate event logistics for faculty programs, including catering, registrations, room reservations, and vendor management.
- Maintain and update academic program websites, digital records, and social media content calendars.
- Support data collection and reporting for accreditation and internal university requirements.
- Oversee student workers and assist with the development of program newsletters and marketing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, higher education, communications, or a related field.
- Two years of progressively responsible administrative, program coordination, or academic support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with website content management platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment and communicate with diverse constituencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant in higher education, non-profit, or corporate environments.
- Experience specifically supporting graduate or professional academic programs.
