About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex administrative and operational support functions for the Graduate School of Education.
- Support faculty, program directors, and the Dean in delivering high-quality academic programs.
- Assist with class scheduling, faculty workload tracking, and adjunct faculty onboarding processes.
- Coordinate room scheduling, facilities requests, and communications with the Registrar’s Office and IT.
- Manage office operations, including maintaining calendars, preparing meeting agendas, and taking minutes.
- Coordinate logistics for faculty program events, including catering, registrations, and vendor management.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for accreditation and internal university requirements.
- Maintain academic program websites, digital records, and social media content calendars.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, higher education, communications, or a related field.
- Two years of progressively responsible administrative, program coordination, or academic support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite.
- Experience working with university technical systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse constituencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant in higher education, non-profit, or corporate environments.
- Experience supporting graduate or professional academic programs.
