Program Controller

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project budgets, schedules, resource plans, and cost baselines
• Partner with Program Managers to establish performance metrics and execution plans
• Monitor program cost, schedule, and technical performance against approved baselines
• Prepare project forecasts, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and cash flow projections
• Track project expenditures, labor utilization, and overall financial performance
• Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive reviews
• Generate program dashboards and performance metrics for leadership
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and performance measurement
• Identify and assess project risks related to cost, schedule, scope, and resources
• Evaluate financial impacts of contract modifications and engineering changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Project Management
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, program finance, or cost management
• Experience supporting complex engineering, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing programs
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or Jira
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, spacecraft, or satellite programs
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts (NASA, DoD, Space Force)
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Deltek, SAP, or Oracle
• Professional certifications such as PMP, EVP, or CPA
