Program Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of sponsored research administration through effective program control and financial oversight
• Set up new sponsored research projects and perform project closeout activities
• Prepare and submit interim and final invoices for federal sponsors
• Analyze reconciliation and control reports to ensure compliance with business requirements and accepted accounting practices
• Ensure delivered solutions comply with Federal Sponsors’ audit requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance OR four years of work experience with government billings
• Three years of relevant experience in program control or research administration
• Knowledge of government agency financial systems, accounting procedures, and terminology
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Three years of experience with federal government contracts, including Cost Plus, T&M, and FFP
• Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal research contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of and expertise using Deltek Costpoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail
