Program Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the cost, schedule, and execution of all engineering tasks for the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS)
• Interface with customers and internal/external execution teams during project definition and implementation
• Lead and coordinate program-level cost estimates and technical execution during bid and proposal activities
• Manage program technical execution, performance metrics, scope, and change management
• Develop and manage program-level schedules, ensuring critical paths and key dependencies are effectively managed
• Act as the primary engineering liaison with Program Management, Production, Contracts, and Customer Service
• Lead program-level risk management and proactively revise project plans to minimize problem areas
• Collaborate with other Chief Engineers to ensure consistency in project execution and share best practices

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience leading multi-domain projects
• Experience interfacing with production environments
• Experience tracking and overseeing the assembly of products still in development
