Program Chair (Licensure Educator Programs)

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure the academic excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement of licensure educator programs.
• Manage curriculum design, implementation, and oversight to ensure content is relevant to workforce needs and aligns with student competencies.
• Lead cross-functional faculty teams and collaborate with design stakeholders, assessment managers, and academic analysts.
• Monitor student success metrics and provide regular reporting on program quality and performance outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards through diligent data gathering and reporting.
• Foster industry partnerships by engaging employers and representatives to serve on program advisory committees.
• Support faculty development and readiness by providing feedback, setting quality requirements, and facilitating regular communication.

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of post-secondary online teaching experience demonstrating teaching excellence.
• 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in curriculum design, implementation, and oversight.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting in both verbal and documented formats.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in education or a relevant area.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the K-12 system in teaching or leadership roles.
• Experience developing online education programs or scaling rapidly changing organizations.
• Experience in developing high-stakes assessments and managing change in complex environments.
