Program Buyer

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement procurement strategies for safety-critical passenger vehicle fuel tank system (FTS) components.
• Source fuel tank system components and coordinate Tier Two supplier procurement and supply chain activities.
• Define and set program prices for various components, including ECUs, UTLC sensors, fuel delivery modules (FDMs), and fuel tank shells.
• Verify component compliance with International Automotive Task Force (IATF) quality standards.
• Support programs throughout the entire product lifecycle for manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Mexico.
• Collaborate with Commodity Buyers during development, serial production, and service part procurement phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience as a Buyer or in a related procurement role.
• Proven experience setting program prices for automotive components, specifically fuel tank system components (e.g., ECUs, sensors, or delivery modules).
