Program Associate, Markets & Food

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and prepare status reports
• Support and monitor preparation of agreements for sub-grantees and consultants
• Write case studies, policy briefs, research summaries, and presentation materials
• Assist in donor communications and fundraising activities
• Oversee financial administration including invoice processing, expense reports, and budget preparation
• Collect, validate, and input data using various software tools
• Synthesize information to prepare reports, tables, and charts for internal and external stakeholders
• Schedule meetings and manage meeting logistics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus two years of professional experience, or four years of relevant experience
• Experience in environmental or conservation science preferred
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Strong management of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience with online tools like SharePoint, Box, or Airtable
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Portuguese
