About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for general departmental enquiries
- Manage job postings and payroll processing for Teaching Assistants
- Update and maintain departmental records, databases, and web pages
- Collect and organize supporting documentation for payroll and HRIS processing
- Coordinate logistical details for events and meetings, including room bookings, A/V setup, and catering
- Prepare draft correspondence and routine documents using established templates
Requirements
- College Diploma (2 years) or an equivalent combination of experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting
- Proven experience processing financial or payroll records
- Experience maintaining organized filing systems and databases
- Experience coordinating logistics for meetings and events
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with FIS or HRIS (or equivalent systems)
