Program Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support to women and children in the Transform Lives Program, including transport to homes or correctional facilities.
• Deliver general administrative support such as procurement, venue bookings, reception duties, and meeting organization.
• Manage information flow and maintain accurate records within the Client and Case Management System while ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and community service providers to support program delivery.
• Respond to telephone queries and assist with the administration required for service referrals.

Requirements

• Diploma level qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant skills and experience.
• Relevant work experience in human or social services.
• Valid Queensland driver's licence.
• Valid Queensland blue card (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work effectively with First Nations people.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage competing deadlines.
