About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary resource person for the Counselling and Clinical Psychology (CCP) and Clinical Psychology (CP) programs.
- Manage administrative aspects including student advising, admissions processing, and registration support.
- Support the program accreditation process and quality assurance program reviews by organizing documentation and site visits.
- Assist in executing recruitment plans to increase high-quality applications and enrollment.
- Provide admissions advice to prospective students and parents regarding curriculum, scholarships, and student services.
- Coordinate program logistics such as course/exam timetabling, room assignments, and committee meeting minutes.
- Manage data collection, maintain student information databases, and assist with scholarship screening.
- Coordinate program events, including retreats, town halls, and special meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in an academic or educational setting.
- Experience supporting academic programs, specifically regarding admissions, awards, and student inquiries.
- Proficiency with student information systems (e.g., ROSI) and online courseware systems like Blackboard.
- Demonstrated experience with data collection, manipulation, and assessing student records.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordinating program logistics.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of University of Toronto, Faculty, and School of Graduate Studies regulations and admission requirements.
- Experience with international student admissions.
- Proficiency with social media tools and RSVP management software.
