Profit Centre Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to increase sales and profits
• Recruit, develop, train, coach, evaluate, and manage the Profit Centre team
• Analyze data to improve operational performance and ROI
• Assist with customer service, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehousing
• Build community relationships to increase market share
• Oversee strategic supplier programs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company directives
• Protect and maintain company assets including buildings, trucks, and machinery

Requirements

• College or university diploma or equivalent professional experience
• At least two years of experience in wholesale distribution
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong work ethic and high integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and business judgment
• Ability to learn order processing software
• Average mathematics skills
• Ability to learn to operate mechanical handling machinery

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge of piping, industrial faucets, and fittings
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience with M3 software
