Profit Centre Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead all business operations at the Profit Centre
• Achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals through team management
• Recruit, develop, train, coach, and evaluate the Profit Centre Team
• Establish sales goals for customer accounts and hold the team accountable
• Analyze financial reports to implement strategies for increasing sales and margins
• Build community relationships to increase market share
• Ensure the Profit Centre meets or exceeds customer service expectations
• Manage marketing plans, purchasing agreements, and assets including buildings, trucks, and inventory
• Follow all safety regulations at customer locations and the Profit Centre

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience
• Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and sound business judgment
• Understanding of purchasing and inventory control processes
• Ability to learn and operate applicable software and material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with plumbing and building products
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse
