Profit Centre Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead all business operations at the Profit Centre
• Achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals through team management
• Determine customer account potential and establish sales goals
• Analyze financial reports to implement strategies for increasing sales and margins
• Build community relationships to increase market share
• Ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
• Manage marketing plans, purchasing agreements, and assets including inventory and equipment
• Follow all safety regulations

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience
• Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of purchasing and inventory control processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing and building products
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience using M3 and Infor
