Profit Centre Administrator

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of paperwork including shipping feedback, cash sale transactions, banking and report reconciliation
• Provide accurate and timely invoicing of customer shipments daily
• Assist in servicing customers including answering phones
• Reconcile daily cash transactions, prepare bank deposits, and submit paperwork
• Review, verify, and enter purchase and expense vendor invoices and debit memos
• Investigate and resolve customer, vendor, and credit inquiries
• Reconcile petty cash and cash sheets daily
• Update information into PeopleSoft
• Support all Profit Centre activities and follow safety regulations

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and terms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to prioritize work and multitask

Preferred Qualifications

• College or University degree
• Previous experience with plumbing and building products
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse software
