Profit Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations of the Profit Center to ensure business growth and sustainable profitability
• Achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals through team recruitment, training, and management
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to increase sales, margins, and productivity
• Build community relationships to identify new market opportunities and increase market share
• Ensure the Profit Center meets or exceeds customer service expectations
• Oversee marketing plans, purchasing contracts, and safety regulation compliance
• Protect and maintain Profit Center assets including buildings, vehicles, machinery, and inventory

Requirements

• College or university degree
• At least three years of experience in wholesale distribution
• Two or more years in a management or leadership role
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and decision-making skills
• Understanding of purchasing processes and inventory control

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with plumbing and construction products
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience with Trend and Eclipse software
