Proficiency Test Specialist

About the Company

The Institute for Interlaboratory Studies (iis) in Spijkenisse is internationally active in the field of proficiency testing (Round Robin) for analytical-chemical laboratories. We help laboratories worldwide test and improve their quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for PTs based on test methods such as ASTM, EN, and ISO
• Perform data analysis using basic statistics
• Report PT analysis results
• Check PT reports from colleagues
• Draft questionnaires based on findings from PT tests
• Answer technical questions from participants in English
• Advise on and promote the quality of participating laboratories
• Contribute to reports where research results are statistically analyzed and interpreted

Requirements

• MBO or HBO diploma in a chemical field
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel and Word
• Affinity with (petro)chemistry or a related field
• Good command of Dutch and English (oral and written)
• Experience with English-language email communication

• Salary between €2,600 and €5,000 gross per month
