Professor - Technology, Art and Design

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the areas of technology, robotics, engineering, and mathematics.
• Act as Head Coach for the robotics team, leading technical training, robot construction, and programming.
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and competency-based didactic materials.
• Provide academic advising to students and maintain excellent communication with parents and faculty.
• Manage administrative tasks, including group coordination, material review, and participation in institutional meetings.
• Promote STEM initiatives through workshops, fairs, and community programs.
• Coordinate collaboration between students, industrial mentors, and external providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Titulado) in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Systems, Electronic, Robotics Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at High School, Middle School, or Professional levels.
• English proficiency level B2 (minimum 550 TOEFL score).
• Proven experience as a mentor or coach in robotics programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of CAD design, programming, electronics, and digital manufacturing.
• Experience teaching Mathematics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus).
• Familiarity with engineering methodologies.
