About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the areas of technology, robotics, engineering, and mathematics.
- Act as Head Coach for the robotics team, leading technical training, robot construction, and programming.
- Develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and competency-based didactic materials.
- Provide academic advising to students and maintain excellent communication with parents and faculty.
- Manage administrative tasks, including group coordination, material review, and participation in institutional meetings.
- Promote STEM initiatives through workshops, fairs, and community programs.
- Coordinate collaboration between students, industrial mentors, and external providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Titulado) in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Systems, Electronic, Robotics Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at High School, Middle School, or Professional levels.
- English proficiency level B2 (minimum 550 TOEFL score).
- Proven experience as a mentor or coach in robotics programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of CAD design, programming, electronics, and digital manufacturing.
- Experience teaching Mathematics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus).
- Familiarity with engineering methodologies.
