About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop a high-impact applied research program in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
- Conduct research in areas such as end-to-end analytics, network design, resilience, and sustainable supply chains.
- Collaborate with manufacturing firms, logistics providers, and retailers to address real-world challenges.
- Establish long-term partnerships with industry and government organizations.
- Mentor graduate students working on applied supply chain projects.
- Lead industry workshops, executive roundtables, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
- Publish research while prioritizing operational impact and technology adoption.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Transportation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working on supply chain or logistics systems with practical applications.
- Proven track record of collaborating with industry partners or government organizations.
- Ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships.
- Minimum English proficiency at a B2 level (written and oral).
