Professor of Veterinary Skills

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and didactic teaching in veterinary skills courses, potentially working with affiliate veterinary hospitals.
• Lead or participate in veterinary skills laboratories based on individual expertise.
• Engage in curriculum development and the creation of innovative learning resources.
• Participate in university committee service, such as admissions, curriculum, or research committees.
• Contribute to the overall research and scholarly goals of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
• Promote the College's mission of academic excellence, teaching, and service to stakeholders.

Requirements

• DVM or an equivalent degree.
• Proven ability to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
• Ability to interact effectively with university administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty board certification.
• Advanced degrees.
• Working knowledge of curricular design and implementation.
