Professor of Social Work

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSSW) program, with potential to teach in the MSW Collaborative Program.
• Engage with students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
• Conduct fundable research and publish findings in relevant academic journals.
• Utilize virtual learning environments and course management systems for hybrid or blended teaching.
• Contribute to the academic community and potentially pursue academic leadership roles.

Requirements

• MSW degree from a CSWE accredited college or university.
• At least three years of postgraduate social work practice experience.
• PhD or DSW in social work or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Ability to conduct fundable research and publish.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to train in, virtual learning environments and course management systems.
