Professor of Practice - Television, Radio & Film

Responsibilities

• Teach entertainment business and innovation/entrepreneurship courses for the department’s Executive and Innovations and Entrepreneurship tracks
• Design and deliver curricula covering emerging media business models, the creator economy, and media entrepreneurship
• Provide mentorship and training to students in both educational and professional settings
• Create classroom-to-industry connections to generate professional opportunities for students
• Build and maintain relationships with leading entertainment companies to enhance the school's reputation
• Engage in university service, including academic advising, committee work, and community engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Distinguished professional accomplishment in entertainment business practice
• Prior university-level teaching experience
• Expertise in new media business models and the creator economy
• Expertise in media entrepreneurship and innovation strategies
• Demonstrated ability to mentor young people in professional or educational environments
