Professional Surveyor & Mapper

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all surveying and mapping projects for the market area
• Collaborate with client representatives and project stakeholders to understand goals and scope
• Prepare and review project proposals, cost estimates, and work plans
• Lead a team of surveyors and mappers, providing guidance, training, and support
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to perform accurate field surveys
• Conduct surveys for highway alignments, right-of-way boundaries, and topographic features
• Prepare survey plats, legal descriptions, and right-of-way maps
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular data reviews
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and drive business development efforts

Requirements

• Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida or ability to obtain within 12 months
• 10+ years of experience in surveying and mapping
• Strong background in FDOT projects
• Mandatory experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Proficiency with total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
• Advanced skills in GIS and surveying software
• Proven experience in business development and account management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
