Professional Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated on-site technical expert for a strategic enterprise account, managing Video Security and Access Control (VS&A) infrastructure.
• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of Avigilon Unity Video, Avigilon Video Archiving (AVA), and Access Control environments.
• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale system upgrades, including licensing validation, firmware, and software updates.
• Conduct site audits, system certifications, and acceptance test plans.
• Support annual preventative maintenance and track compliance with contractual SLAs and response timelines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to determine root causes, review logs, and deploy fixes for system outages and deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client’s internal IT staff, system integrators, and security stakeholders.
• Communicate project scope, schedules, and deliverables to internal cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional certification such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MTA, LFS, MCSE, or CompTIA A+.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, UDP, IGMP, Multicasting, routers, and firewalls).
• Experience with VMS and Access Control environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark and PowerShell.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of field experience specifically in VMS and Access Control (ACM) environments.
• Experience with industry players such as Milestone, Genetec, Exacq, Axis, or Hikvision.
• Experience deploying VMS and camera systems from the ground up.
• Knowledge of programming and APIs.
• Experience with Dell iDRAC and HP iLO OSs.
