About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects and provide coaching and mentorship to the engineering team
- Design, configure, and implement complex on-prem and cloud-based network and system solutions
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on Pre-Sales Engineering to develop client solutions
- Implement complex technologies including Network Access Control (NAC), Security Firewalls, Route/Switch, EVPN/VXLAN, and WLAN
- Serve as a high-level escalation point for engineering support, providing expert-level debugging and analysis
- Document system designs, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Ensure all technical work complies with company security protocols and industry best practices
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- One expert-level certification (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, or Aruba ACSX) or two or more professional-level certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, or Aruba ACSP)
- 5+ years of experience in systems or network engineering
- Proven hands-on project leadership experience
- Deep technical knowledge of NAC, Route/Switch, EVPN/VXLAN, Security Firewalls, and WLAN
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
