Professional Services Consultant, Risk

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact discovery workshops to uncover client pain points and map business processes.
• Architect scalable solution architectures that align Ripple Treasury capabilities with client business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Implement comprehensive derivative management solutions for FX (forwards, swaps, options) and Interest Rate (IRS, caps, floors, collars) instruments.
• Guide clients through complex hedge accounting requirements under ASC 815 and IFRS 9, including effectiveness testing and documentation.
• Modernize accounting and financial reporting processes by automating journal entries and improving reconciliation workflows.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to empower end users and drive product adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to relay client insights and shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in client-facing consulting, treasury/risk technology implementations, or SaaS delivery.
• Deep expertise in treasury and financial risk management, including debt, FX, and interest rate derivatives.
• Proficiency in hedge accounting standards (ASC 815 / IFRS 9).
• Strong skills in solution architecture and business process design.
• Technical fluency with treasury systems, ERPs, banking platforms, and financial integrations.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into business value.
